Phi Kappa Phi sponsors GRE prep workshop at Murray State University


MURRAY, Ky. — The Murray State University chapter of the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society is sponsoring a GRE prep workshop Tuesday, Oct. 17, from 6 to 7 p.m. in room 505 of Faculty Hall.


Tips and resources will be shared during the workshop. Students in attendance will also have the opportunity to form accountability study partners with each other.


The workshop is a part of the national Phi Kappa Phi Student Visibility Week, Oct. 16–22.


The Murray State chapter of Phi Kappa Phi was chartered Nov. 28, 2007, and has inducted several hundred outstanding Murray State students into membership since. The chapter seeks to recognize and encourage excellence in all academic disciplines and promote the discussion of important issues across disciplinary lines.


Founded in 1897 and headquartered in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Phi Kappa Phi is the nation’s oldest and most selective collegiate honor society for all academic disciplines. At Murray State, Phi Kappa Phi is the most prestigious academic honor society.
