Parking Services announces Pay It Forward program

Murray State Parking Services would like to introduce our new Pay It Forward program. The purpose of this program is two-fold: first and foremost, the Pay It Forward program is to work with Murray State community to support our Racers Helping Racers Food Pantry; second, this program offers parking fine violators an option to have one appealable parking citation per semester waived within 30 days of receiving the citation by donating a specific number and specific types of food items for our Racers Helping Racers Food Pantry.  (For example:  An individual receives an eligible Pay It Forward parking citation on August 29, 2017.  They must have the non-perishable food item turned in to Parking Services no later than September 30, 2017, with their citation to be waived.)

Please contact Murray State Parking Services with any questions about this new program at (270) 809-4812 or go to murraystate.edu/parking and choose the Pay It Forward tab for a complete list of citations eligible for the program and the type and number of non-perishable food items accepted by the program.
